A Moment in Time №80

I love it when street performers put on a show. This moment is a Friday ritual where I select a photo from my past travels and share it with my readers. It was a cultural day in Svetlogorsk and the streets were crowded. Music was playing everywhere and it was a festive atmosphere. Then we saw a large crowd gathering and I heard music.

It was time to go and have a look. A young girl was doing a dance act on the floor and the people were clapping and enjoying every minute.  Before I knew it, I was also clapping.

I have been fortunate to have done quite a bit of travelling over the last 10 years. By heart I am an adventurer and I love exploring new places, cultures and food. Travelling can become stressful and expensive. Over the years I have learnt to travel as cost effective as possible, simply by travelling more clever. Nelmitravel.com is a Adventure and Budget Travel site where I review Airlines, Accommodation, Transport, Restaurants and give helpful travel information.

  1. I love to watch break-dancing, if that is what this is. The movements are incredible and it leaves me wishing that my body could be only 10% flexible as theirs is. It looks as though everyone in the audience is mesmerized. She must have been really good ☺ Have a great weekend Nelieta!

    1. Hi Mary, yes this was it. Oh I wouldn`t even attempt to do anything like that! I will end up in hospital..LOL! People loved it and this couple was really good. Thank you for stopping by and have a great weekend too Mary!

      1. Ooh, that’s interesting. I’ve seen such performances a few times, I would love to be there. And, yes, break-dancing is most definitely tiring!

  2. As much as the action in the center is interesting, I love the variety of expressions in the crowd! And what’s with the blue haired little girl? 🙂

    1. Hi Corinne, yes I was lucky to be standing on the other side. I managed to capture the expressions too. It was a musical festival and people dressed up and little ones were walking around with blue, pink, purple and green hair..lol!

  3. Makes me wonder what she is going to do next! You can tell the onlookers are caught in the moment. Great capture! Intriguing!

Thank you for visiting. Have a fabulous day!
