A free train service is running inside the “Parque Nacional Iguazu” on the Argentinian side. Admission to the train is included in the price of your entrance ticket. The Park is really big and if you are pressured for time or if you get tired easily, then the train is a good option. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride through the jungle!

Unfortunately you cannot see the see the falls from the train but you will see a lot of birds and beautiful scenery.

The first train station is “Central Station” +- 400m from the main gate and close to the Visitors centre. The train connects different places in the Park and make a stop at “Cataratas Station” from where you can start the walk to the “Upper Circuit”. “Cataratas Station” is the starting point to the Upper Circuit.

If you want to stay on the train and continue your journey then you will stop at “Garganta del Diablo Station”. This is not a big station but there are toilets and Fast food outlets where you can buy something to eat. This ride is really beautiful and takes you deep into the rain forest. You also have the opportunity to see different kinds of birds, plants and to meet new people!

Over the years I have learnt to travel as cost effective as possible, simply by travelling more clever.
