What facilities does the Ski slopes in St Johann offer?

The resort forms part of the Schneewinkl Ski Area and has direct access to 60 km of downhill skiing, 19 individual pistes and 17 ski lifts. The ski lift can transport more than 20,000 people per hour, including snowboarders.

With the appropriate ski lift pass you will also be able to ski and snowboard in other Schneewinkl ski resorts example Kirchdorf, Waidring and Fieberbrunn-Pillersee Tal. We went skiing the one day in Kirchdorf when there was not enough snow in St. Johann.

Here are the different access points:

Eichenhof: Drag number 13 links to the top of the mountain. There is a quiet beginner’s slope.

Übungslift Baumoos: This access point is not very far from the rail station. It also has a beginner’s slope.

The Hauptkassa: This is the main access point and the fastest way to get to the top. It is 700m from the town centre. Chairs 3 and 4 serve the intermediate and easy terrain.

Oberndorf: You will find this access point when you drive to Oberndorf and then take the route by Gondola.

The resort opens from 12 December and closes on 20 April.
