{this moment} – A Friday ritual. A photo – no words – capturing any moment from my past travel experiences. A simple, special, extraordinary moment.
A moment you want to pause, savour and remember.
“This Moment” is a ritual found on Life inspired by the Wee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane.
That’s just beautiful Nelieta! I love the ol’ timey look of the whole moment. Great capture!
Thank you very much Mary! It had something vintage to it 😉 Have a great weekend!
Oh, what a nice picture! I’d love to know the story behind it.
Here’s my moment…my daughter and I had breakfast together at a diner in NJ before her field trip to a wolf preserve.
Hi Sharon, thank you for visiting my moment!
Hi Nelieta…can you tell me something about this?
Hi Janaki, I took this photo in the week.
Oh, how vintage looking! And, perfect for Mothers’ Day! Great photo, Nelieta!
Hi Martha, thank you! Yes I decided to put this up because Mother`s day is around the corner. It was what I was thinking when I took the photo 🙂 Have a blessed weekend!
Dear Nelieta,
My wife was able to translate some of the words for me…beautiful capture and even more heartfelt ode to mother. Thanks for sharing.
I know you’re off soon, so safe travels, don’t worry about what might or might not be awaiting your arrival…just deal with the situation when you get there. I’ll be eagerly awaiting your romantic photos. Hope all goes well. Take care my dear. <3<3<3
Hi Andy,
Yes I agree..it was sad to see it there but there is also a message of hope and reunion. I liked it. Thank you very much for your message. I am really tired tonight after all the packing and preparations and haven`t had much time to think. Things normally have a way of working itself out! I promise I will take some photos just for you! May they be inspirational! Have a blessed weekend Andy and pop in to see what we are up to in Russia!
oops, forgot my moment link LOL
Thanks Mary!
Lovely moment!! What does the inscription say?
Hi David, I found this poem when I was walking through the cemetery. Loosely translated it means this:
To my worshiped and blessed mother,
whose blood gave me life,
I beg for heaven to return, to be by your side.
For my mother, I offer all that is sweet and singing
and be my guiding star through my life.
