I received a Whatsapp message from a friend of mine recently regarding a road trip. She knows I love to travel and wanted to know if I could give her ideas for fun things to do with a group of female friends. They are planning a trip to the mountains in France and will be staying in a cabin.
What an exciting adventure! Cabins are a great place to spend the chilly winter season with friends and you could plan a fun activities with them.
Let’s look at some ideas.
A movie night.
One of the first things that came to mind is a movie night. Movies that came to mind: The Notebook, The Sisterhood of the travelling pants, Bridesmaids and Thelma and Louise to name a few. Who doesn’t like to curl up in front of a roaring fire?
Matching pjs.
Yes! That is a wonderful and fun idea. Cabins can get cold and what a better way to celebrate your friendship by wearing custom made and matching pjs. Onesies are by far my favourite and they are so cute and comfortable.
Bake holiday treats.
It is always fun to bake or cook with family or friends. Our best conversations always start in the kitchen. Why not bake cookies, decorate them and have a prize for the winner. Together you can enjoy them around the fire.
Play fun games with your friends.
You can choose classic games like Monopoly, Scrabble or Jenga. Find a game that everyone will enjoy. Bring out the snacks and enjoy the games. It is a great opportunity for bonding and I am sure everyone will join in the fun.
Your friends will love these festive winter cabin activities.
What a gorgeous photo!
We have swans on the shore of my local river and I never cease to be excited when we happen upon them on our walks and bike rides.
