Hostel Suites Florida in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires City has a variety of hostels to choose from. There are hostels for all kinds of travelers from party animals to the more mature traveler who wants a good night`s sleep. I fall into the latter category. People also choose hostels for location purposes and for that reason I always choose Hostel Suites Florida when I go to the city.

Hostel Suites Florida is situated in the busy Florida street in the micro-centro. It is centrally located close to the metro`s,shopping centres,Casa Rosada,Plaza de Mayo, Avenida 9 de Julio,Puerto Madero and bus stops.

It is a big and busy hostel. I have stayed there many times over the years but I always feel like I am just a number. Staff are friendly and helpful but each time I visit I am asked to fill in a register card. I would expect that by now that they have my details on record.

Amenities at Hostel Suites Florida.

The Hostel has a large common room with a big screen TV,computers,Wi-Fi and a small kitchen where you can cook. The kitchen is not very big and too small for such a big hostel. Luggage storage is available if you arrive early and need to store your luggage. They are very strict with the check-in time and if you arrive early forget to get your room before 14h00.

Room types.

They have private rooms and dorms. There are male and female dormi’s and each room has a private bathroom. Rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Lockers are in the room and you need to bring your own lock. Towels are provided for the private rooms.

If you are looking for a good night`s rest, ask them for a room that doesn`t face Calle Florida. The street is very,very busy and can be noisy.

Hostel Suites Florida has a restaurant/disco in the basement of the hostel. They often offer free meals and the drinks are on you. Breakfast is included in the price but if you are looking for an American breakfast then you need to pay extra.

I always recommend this hostel to travellers who are travelling to Buenos Aires for the first time. It is a good place to start your Argentinian adventure. They will also assist with excursions including tango and Spanish lessons and trips to various parts in the city like Caminito.
