Bojos Cafe – A small coffee shop in the heart of Swakopmund.
Swakopmund stole my heart but so did Bojos Cafe. It was one of the most interesting coffee shops that I have seen in a long time. The walls are decorated with quirky sayings about coffee. It made us smile each morning to see the posts . The cafe is run by two lovely ladies.
Bojos Cafe is not a very big place with seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Monica and I had breakfast here every morning during our 5 day stay in Swakopmund. Each morning we tried something new on the menu and sat at a different table. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. Breakfast was mouth-watering and yummy! The food was fresh and tasty. The orange juice is freshly squeezed – delicious.
Simply the best coffee.
Bojos Cafe has great coffee. I mean really great coffee. The menu has a large variety ranging from Cappuccino to Espresso and many more. The coffee is freshly roasted and tastes how coffee should. Bojos Cafe is pet friendly and even sells pet treats. It is truly the ideal place to hang out with friends, enjoy breakfast or a light lunch.
Bojos Cafe Review.
Personally I would recommend Bojos when in Swakopmund. It has a great vibe, the food is delicious and it is centrally located. It is the ideal place for a traveller who wants to enjoy a hearty meal and a great cup of coffee. I found this interesting piece of information about the restaurant, written by the owners:
Bojos is a Cafe which serves freshly made food with wholesome ingredients ! We don’t use premix sauces or artificial flavourants. Our Lettuce comes from our own vegetable garden and is free from pesticides. We recycle as much as we can and use leftover coffee grouts on the garden. Tea bags are dried and used as blitz for fires/ orange peels are dried and used also as blitz. Leftover food waste is composted and also feeds the earth worms. We are different and believe that you should know what you are eating. So if you need more salt then the salt is there for you to add.
What does other travellers have to say about Bojos Cafe?
We met some friends and enjoyed a great breakfast. Very European feel with the outdoor seating. Small menu but nice selection and good quality.
This is what a coffee shop should be like. Excellent coffee, friendly staff, home baking to die for and a quirky decor. We only popped in for a quick caffeine fix on our first day but were so impressed we had to go back for more!
The restaurant is closed every Wednesday.

Very unfortunate that the mail address ‘bojos@iway.na’ has been OVER QUOTA the past few months and mails keep failing.
