Holiday Inn Munich South Hotel was chosen for us by Contiki for our stay in Munich. Personally I like the Holiday Inn hotels as they are always clean and prices not too expensive. This one also didn`t disappoint.
The Hotel, that boasts more than 300 rooms, is situated in a residential area south of the city center. This is not a problem for travelers because a subway is located close by, which will take you into the city. It is more or less 15 minutes from the Hotel to Marienplatz.
Close to the subway you will find a grocery store,pharmacy, bakery and a McDonald`s.
The hotel is equipped with a gym, sauna, restaurant, bar, swimming pool, terrace and conference rooms. The use of the facilities are free of charge (apart from the conference rooms).
Our room was fitted with 2 really comfortable single beds TV, mini bar and telephone. The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable.
A delicious breakfast buffet was included in the price.
Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night and most of the time we spent sightseeing and at the Hofbrauhaus. But I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
