Paseo la recoleta in Buenos Aires.

La Recoletta neighbourhood is one of my favourite places in Buenos Aires. It is also here where you will find the La Recoleta Cemetery and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.

The park is always full on weekends.They have markets on weekends where artisans sell their goods. Some things are a little expensive (because it is Recoleta) but you find some very interesting articles and souvenirs for sale. They call it the Paseo Recoletta. It is in fact a walkway where you can walk to the cemetery, the Museum and the la Recoleta shopping centre.

A picnic in the park.

In front of the cemetery you have a beautiful park where you can sit on benches or the grass and have a picnic. You always find aspiring musicians with their instruments entertaining people. When I visit the park I find a spot on the grass and listen to them. They arrive with all different types of instruments and drums are very popular. They love to perform in groups and entertain the people.

There is a wonderful atmosphere in the park. If you are looking for a nice and relaxing walk or interested to do some shopping then go there.

In the week you will find that not much is happening there. I prefer it in the week because it is more quite but then you miss out on the performances. The artisans are always there selling their goods but there are more over weekends.

Definitely a place to go to when you are in Buenos Aires.
