Thai Smile Airline – Review.
Thai Smile Airline is a budget airline in Thailand that fly to Phuket,Surat Thani,Krabi,Chiang Mai,Chiang Rai,Udon Thani and Ubol Ratchatani. They also fly to destinations in India and Malaysia. Flights leave from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Domestic Departures).
We recently used Thai Smile Airline to fly to Surat Thani. That was the cheapest option to get to Koh Samui. There are direct flights to Koh Samui through Thai Air but they are a lot more expensive. It worked out cheaper for us to fly from Bangkok to Surat Thani and then take a ferry to Koh Samui.
Baggage allowance at Thai Smile Air.
The baggage allowance on Thai Smile Air is 20kg per person which is great especially when you carry luggage from a previous International Flight.
This is a brand new Airline and they are actively promoting their new fleet and routes. The THAI Smile fleet consist of 11 brand new Airbus A320-200 aircrafts, ideally suited for fuel efficient short haul travel. We were flying with one of the new airplanes.
The airplane has the word “Smile” written on it, which made me smile. A fun airline, yet professional and efficient.
It was a comfortable flight, with a snack in a plastic drawstring bag. I thought that was very creative.
I would definitely recommend flying with Thai Smile Air.
