When I flew into Zurich International Airport I was a little lost. I did not know where to go and I was under pressure because I had a connecting flight. I found it a little daunting at first.I really suggest you print a map and use it for easy navigation. I did not know that I needed to take a train to the departure terminal. I thought everything was walking distance!
This was a little confusing at first but everything was clearly marked and I managed to find my way to the departure terminal without problems.
The airport is beautiful,modern with big windows. I loved the fact that there was a lot of light streaming into the building.
When I flew back I had a little but more time to explore the shopping area. The things are very expensive so I tried to restrain myself from buying anything.
Zürich International airport is not located in Zürich itself but in the town called Klotten.
