How to get to Florenc Bus station and other transport information.

We found it easy to get to Florenc bus station from the city. I have mentioned before that the bus station is very close to the Metro. I suggest you use the Metro for faster transfer. Metro Lines B (yellow line) and C (Red line) have stops at the Florenc bus station. If you can also change at Line B or C at the Museum or Mustek stations.

If you prefer to use the bus, then you will also find it easy. Just outside the bus station is a bus stop that caters for several city buses. There is also a tram stop within 250 m from the bus station.

If you are carrying luggage then it is easier to use the Metro.

How to store luggage at the Florenc Bus station.

Luggage storage is very important for travellers. We had a full day in the city before our bus departed and decided to leave our luggage at the bus station and use the time to explore more of the city. The luggage storage office is located at the new terminal building and is open from 5 am until midnight. It is located next to ticket counter number one and easy to find. Don’t store any electronics or valuables. The storage price is per bag. Unfortunately I cannot remember how much we paid but it was not more than 4 Euros per bag.

How to buy tickets for onwards travel at the Florenc Bus Station?

From the Florenc bus station, it is possible to travel to various domestic and international destinations. Ticket counters can be found in the new bus terminal and each counter is dedicated to a specific bus company. We travelled with Ecolines from Prague to Warsaw and they had their own ticket office. Billboards indicate departures and arrivals. We purchased our tickets upfront and did not need to go back to ticket office. We made our way directly to the platforms, which are all numbered. Finding the buses were easy and we had no problem as everything was marked. If in doubt, visit the information centre or the ticket office for the company that you are travelling with.
